Programme Overview
The Diri Digital Entrepreneurship Empoerment Programme aims to equip participants with the practical digital skills and knowledge needed to thrive in today’s technology-driven world. The program focuses on enhancing employability, fostering innovation, and encouraging entrepreneurship by teaching competencies. By empowering young people with these capabilities, the initiative seeks to bridge the digital divide, boost economic participation, and prepare a skilled workforce ready to contribute to national development.
Objectives
The training programme aims to:
- Build Website Development Skills – Equip participants with the ability to design, develop, and manage functional, user-friendly websites for business or personal use.
- Introduce Mobile Application Development – Provide foundational knowledge and practical experience in creating simple mobile apps for Android and iOS platforms.
- Enhance Mobile Phone Repair Competence – Train youths to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair common hardware and software faults in mobile devices.
- Strengthen Computer Networking Skills – Teach participants how to set up, configure, and maintain small to medium-sized computer networks.
- Develop Hardware Maintenance Expertise – Enable participants to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on computers and related hardware components.
- Promote Self-Reliance and Employment Opportunities – Empower youths to apply these ICT skills to secure jobs, start small businesses, or offer freelance technical services..
Target Audience
– Unemployed youths, young entrepreneurs, students with a minimum of school cerificate.
